Oxford’s Tercentennial Committee was established
by the Board of Selectmen to gather residents
together to plan for the Town of Oxford's 300th
Anniversary in the year 2013.
The purpose of the committee is to oversee the
celebration of Oxford’s historical and cultural
heritage, with an eye on the present, while
looking toward the future of our community.
Through a yearlong celebration, the Oxford
Tercentennial Committee plans to bring a
snapshot of achievements and developments of the
town.
As we plan events, our goal will be for young
and old, generational and new residents, to
mingle and celebrate with pride our Town’s 300
years of history in an informational,
entertaining, and affordable atmosphere.
Residents, friends, and community neighbors are
reminded that all are welcome to plan,
participate, and share in our community
celebration.
